MRD Electronic Zero Air Loss Demand Drains

The Parker Airtek Maximum Reliability Drain (MRD) is specifically designed for applications where both the quantity and quality of the compressed air is critical. As the condensate level in the sump rises, the mechanical float actuates the switch and operates the drain valve. The drain will remain open until the sump is empty. The MRD discharges liquid condensate only. No compressed air is wasted. The non-sliding mechanical float is time proven, reliable and non-fouling. The sealed switch is not affected by water, dirt or oil. To prevent fouling the sump is designed so that contaminants settle out below the drain valve. The low profile Maximum Reliability Drain is trouble-free, energy efficient and easy to operate. A MRD Drain should be installed at all liquid collection points in a compressed air system
